What will I actually learn from the test?+
A species-level read of your gut: which bacteria you carry, how diverse your microbiome is, where you sit against a healthy reference range, and what to do about it — reviewed and signed off by a scientist.
Is this a medical test?+
No. NB1 is a wellness and lifestyle product. Your report is informational and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a medical concern, speak to your doctor.
How long does it take?+
About two weeks from the day your sample reaches the laboratory. We email you when it arrives and when your report is ready.
What if my sample fails?+
It happens occasionally. We send a replacement kit at no cost. Tip: return your sample the day you take it — it is stable without refrigeration for 2 days and must reach the laboratory within 5.
Who can see my results?+
Your sample is processed under an anonymised ID. Results are visible to you and to the reviewing scientist. We do not sell your data.
Can I take the test if I am pregnant, nursing, or on medication?+
The test itself is a sample collection and carries no risk. If you go on to take supplements, consult your healthcare provider first.
Do you ship to my country?+
We currently ship to Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
